Hello! I’m Adam and I work as a software developer.
I live in the UK (London) and the Czech Republic (Prague), splitting my time between these two places.
I love all things software development and have done since an early age (CBM-BASIC, iykyk).
It's nothing new to say that software changes the world every day, hopefully for the better. Its communication platforms bring people together and let them keep in touch. It enables high-tech job opportunities in otherwise developing parts of the world. Access to information and education in ways unimaginable a few generations ago. Massive advancements in healthcare and medicine development. Software refuses to let the world stand still.
These constant advancements help keep life interesting, and as someone who works in the software sphere it's clear to me that software will likely never stop offering new opportunities.
I'm always happy to chat to folks about all things development. I like mentoring as well, I try to share (and gain) knowledge. People tell me I’m good at explaining stuff.
Other things about me: I’m a big motorsport fan, mad about cars in general and have been for as long as I can remember. I’m a terrible snowboarder, but trying to improve with my wife’s help. I love exploring new places (living in Prague makes it very easy to hop over to other European cities).
I have (what some call) an unhealthy liking for breaking stuff - taking stuff apart, seeing how it works, trying to put it back together, mostly.
Anyway, nobody comes to these sites to read a life history, so I’ll leave it there. Ping me an [email] if you want any more info.
