I’m a software developer. I started working as a developer back in 2006 after graduating from university.

The majority of my work at the moment focuses on the development of backend systems across a spread of industries, using both .NET Framework and modern .NET. Projects I work on tend to get deployed to Azure, Windows Server, Linux, Kubernetes, etc.

Aside from .NET backend stuff, I also sometimes work with JavaScript/TypeScript (the usual web frontend libraries), CSS and HTML, as well as WPF/MAUI and Xamarin.Android. For a high level view of what tech I've used, take a look at the [work] page.

The three highest priority focus points for me are security, scalability and efficiency. These values must be at the core of a system’s design, not just things to keep in mind or come back to later.
